Did you know that 4-time PBA MVP Don Ramon "El Presidente" Fernandez, owner of the Elegant Shot was once a USC Warrior?

for me, he's the best player to ever suit the green and gold jersey in cebu basketball.

For a center, he also leads the PBA n steals and assisst. The most most dominant center of his time inspite of his built.

Also known as "The Franchise", "Don Ramon" and "El Presidente".

He wore the number 10 jersey for Toyota, Beer Hausen, Tanduay and Purefoods. He changed his number to 19 when he was traded to San Miguel for Alberto Guidaben at the end of the 2nd conference of 1988.

Fernandez played the 1973 RP Youth Team that was coached by Tito Eduque that won the Youth Championships.
He played on the first PBA-led team in the 1990 Beijing Asian Games that won the Silver Medal.
A four-time MVP in the PBA and a member of the 1989 San Miguel Beer Grand Slam Team.

He is a Rotarian and a fellow waray.

Fernandez hailed from Maasin. I wonder though why his jersey is not retired just like Julian Macoy's at USC

After the PBA, he was commissioner of several leagues like the MBA, URBL and last year's CeSAFI Partners' Cup
