Bong Quinto topscored for D-League team Tanduay in a victory over the Jeron Teng-led AMA U. Rey Nambatac also performed well for Racal (the D-League team, not the ex-Knight) in a victory over the same Teng-led AMA.
The boys won over Fatima U, 62-60, in their Milcu Hard to Guard U-25 game. They're now at second (7-2) in Group B, behind LPU-B at 10-0. JRU is still the pacesetter in Group A, with UPHSD close behind.
Lest we forget, Rey Nambatac is in the finals once again -- this time while playing for the Racal Tilemasters -- vs. Cignal-San Beda. Nambatac topscored in the first game of the finals, shooting 23 points in a losing cause.
The Tilemasters will fight for dear life on Monday, and hopefully, we will have a better result this time around.
