I lwould like to thank San Miguel for his report on the forthcoming 5th Fr. Martin Collegiate Open Cup, which opens on Saturday, November 28, still at a venue to be announced by the 20th this month. From the day of the meeting, a lot have transpired.....a lot of changes.
First and foremost, it is NCAA junior winning coach,Mr. Ato Badolato running the league, as he is the President. UAAP senior four-peat winning coach, Mr. Aric del Rosario is the Commissioner, and his son, Lester is his deputy. Mr. Joey Lim is the Secretary General, while, Mr. Kurt de Guzman is the league's Treasurer. Mr. Joey Villar of the Philippine Star is the league's Press Secretary.
As of today, 3pm, the team participants have been trimmed to twenty from 22 teams, as PMMS College and La Consolacion College-Manila have begged-off from the tournament, the former was not allowed to participate while they are also playing in the NCRAA. The latter has only eight active players in the roster, as majority have graduated.
And also, while doing the groupings during the meeting last Wednesday, we overlooked we grouped together all three computer schools, namely; STI College, Informatics Philippines and AMA Computer University. So we had to move STI College to Group B and Centro Escolar University to Group A.
Herewith is the official and final groupings.

    GROUP A GROUP B

    AMA Computer University Adamson University
Arellano University Team B Arellano University Team A
Centro Escolar University *College of St. Benilde
Colegio de San Juan de Letran Far Eastern University
Emilio Aguinaldo College Jose Rizal University
Informatics Philippines Mapua Institute of Technology Team B
Mapua Institute of Technology Team A Our Lady of Fatima University
San Sebastian College-Recoletos San Beda College-Manila
University of the East STI College
University of the Philippines University of Perpetual Help System Dalta

The schedule of games will be released to the teams and to Gameface.ph by next Friday, November 20
