    The Laughingstocks Of PBA

Im referring to players, who, upon entering the court or receiving the ball, will get a thunderous applause, laughters, howls or cheers either for mockery or insult. Somehow, these players have become famous not because thay are so good but thay are fun to watch. The life of the league. And we need them............

    Sonny Cabatu
    Cris Bolado

    EJ Feihl
    Topex Robinson
    Mark Andaya
    Alex Crisano
    Bonel Balingit

    ....others?

Torion and Valenzuela, when these two are still in Red Bull and when they are playing against Ginebra. Torion was tagged as "adik" and Valenzuela as "Diego". ;D

Mamaril, nang maglaro kay Jawo became a respected center. I remember very clearly Bady Dalupan saying dumaan sa kanya si Mama', as he was fondly called, sa Crispa pero kay Jawo lang daw umasenso yung player.
We had a head start in this game. At one time we had a glorious 3rd place finish in the World Championship and was the undisputed power in Asia. But the world has learned how to play it. They may not be as good as us,but they have enough smarts to make use of their height. That is enough to beat us.

benjie paras?!? i know he's already a comedian on TV, but back when he was still with shell, even fil-shams were put to shame because of his inside strength and rugged power off the boards. he is the only PBA player to have won the rookie of the year and most valuable player at the same time, and he has won two MVPs in his career. laughingstock he definitely wasn't, unless one noticed how he would sway his arms like a girl when he ran.

    Homer Se pala

And come to think of it, even Robert Jaworski would get howls of approval after tripping a player down.

Sir Oca.....im retracting Mamaril from my list. Maybe it has something to do with his physical appearance.
