    US NCAA 2008-2009 Season

let's talk about the US NCAA 2008-2009 season here.

to me, the question isn't whether north carolina will make it to the final four but whether they'll finish the season undefeated. they're athletic, deep, talented, skilled and experienced. they're smart and unselfish. they're well-coached. they make fellow top 10 teams like notre dame (won by 15 without ) and michigan state (won by 35) look like junior varsity squads. i'm not a UNC fan, i'm more inclined towards duke, but this year's tar heels could be a team for the ages.

japeth aguilar's wku hilltoppers are ranked #15 in the SI power rankings. hope they continue to win especially when jap gets back in action so he'll get a chance to get noticed.

WKU upset highly touted Louisville. The victory was a definite feather in the cap of coach McDonald, the new skipper of WKU. Japeth is still out of commission with his stress fracture and is still wearing a cast boot. Malas na bata, laging injured.

Pitino's boys were ranked 3rd in the top 25.

speaking of upsets, michigan beat duke.

how about the no.1 prospect in the next year's draft, Blake Griffin? he's a beast right now averaging 25 and 16 per outing. the catch? he's white.

Partly correct. The father of the Blake brothers is black but the mother is white.
