if ABS-CBN won PBA coverage, I would encourage GMA-7 to get liga pilipinas coverage that would be an interesting TV network ratings war :D

even if PBA has the best players, liga pilipinas will give good competition for TV ratings due to regional pride in the provinces.

Not a bad idea. Liga would need as much exposure to develop a fan base.

kaso pag ABS-CBN baka sa Channel 23 itelecast ang PBA, di ata maganda reception sa provinces unless cable connected ang TV set, pag GMA malamang QTV itelecast ang Liga the same outcome din, di rin ma access sa provinces.

It's a good one but hopefully that won't exploit the league into another MBA just to use them as a ploy to rival the other network, e di mawawala na yung concept na gusto ng Liga na hindi sila magiging competitor ng PBA.

Exposure lang. It will help gather sponsors to ease the financial aspects of the league.

Yes, exposure would be good along with the sponsor, at least noticed agad ang Liga. But kung agad agad ilalabas mo agad siya as a competitor to a possible ABS-bound PBA, well it may end up as a guinea pig kung ganoon ang intention.

updates naman po kung kailan magsimula. may tv coverage po ba and update sa number of teams and rosters. i heard 13 teams na daw?

right now it's 14 and they are aiming for 16. they are set to start on may 31 and hopefully the date will not be changed.
