Re: NAASCU's Past and Present Member Schools

    * * *THE NAASCU is a perpetually growing league, adding members yearly since opening in SY 2001-2002.* The only school team I remember that left the group is the World Citi College Vikings.* The Vikings later tried their luck in the CUSA but have since disbanded their team.

    The current membership:

    AMA Computer University Titans
    Centro Escolar University Scorpions
    Holy Angel University Flyers
    Informatics International College Icons
    Lyceum of Subic Bay Sharks
    New Era University Hunters
Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasay Eagles
    Saint Clare College-Caloocan Saints
    San Sebastian College-Cavite Baycats
    STI College Olympians
University of Makati Hardy Herons (they used to be called the Wizards)
    University of Manila Hawks

Roster of Senior Men's Basketball Champions

    2001 University of Manila Hawks
    2002 University of Manila Hawks
    2003 University of Manila Hawks
    2004 University of Manila Hawks
    2005 University of Manila Hawks
    2006 AMA Computer University Titans
    2007 STI College Olympians
    2008 ?

^ I cannot quite recall if it was 76 or 86 games. All I recall is that it was the St Clare Saints that ended that streak with one of their guards heaving in a desperation shot from midcourt.

Arellano University Flaming Arrows (now Chiefs) was an original member in 2001. They transferred in NCRAA in 2004.

Yup it was St Clare who ended UM's 86-game winning streak on a halfcourt shot by current PCU Dolphin Dennis San Pedro.

Thanks. I also found this in Wikipedia. What I wanted to know was the former members, you mention WCC. Are they the only member who left? And Who were the original members and what year did the others enter. Thanks.

wala nang WCC..it's better you contact Dr. Jay Adalem of St.Claire regarding this league's history
