Michael Luga is a member of the Laniors (Yup, that's the name, it's a combination of players from the Lancers and Warriors) squad in the Clear Men Future League. They came out as champs in the Cebu leg, the question is if they can handle the nine other teams who also qualified for the CMFL Finals

CMFL teams only feature 6 players in one team (they play 5-on-5 but with shorter time) Here are the names i can remember: Luga, Tangarorang, Cortez, Canoy, Espero (?) and other name that escapes me.

Of the names there, i liked Armando Ponce because of his point guard play. And Coach Edito is known as Clear's Yeng Guiao because of how he handles himself inside the court :D

Ponce is Mythical Five Point Guard last season in the CeSAFI. Delfino and Pogoy also played for USJ-R last year while Hatague played for USJ-R 2 seasons ago.

Padayao and Cortes are still active varsity players for USC and will see action in CeSAFI 2009. Cortes is not 23, he was born 1988 so he should be around 20 or 21. I'll check his profile later. Cortes is a sophomore while Padayao is comebacking after he straightened out his some things.

Cortes is an undersized 6'0" center but is among CeSAFI's league leaders in rebounds for 2008 and was tied with Sam Hermosa as USC's 2nd leading scorer for the past season.

Padayao is a sweet shooting 6'2" forward typical of USC power forwards(can shoot from outside like Llanto and Bakker).
