Jerico Magno had a game-high 24 points but was held virtually scoreless in the fourth period as the CEU Scorpions bowed to the St Clare Saints on opening day of NAASCU Season 8 yesterday at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum. MAgno was a veritable one-man wrecking crew for the Scorpions but didn't get much help from the rest of his crew.

Magno 45 was silenced in the fourth quarter as St Clare ran away with the win.
Best Player of the game was a court general by the name of Philip Coronel who poured in major points
in leading the saints

CEU's number 13 player Banas, number 19 Clauren and number 18 Marquez tried to keep the Scorpions in this game as well. Unfortunately for coach John Ramirez it looks like his boys simply were not all on the same page.

Jerico Magno is fast turning out to be a one-man gang for CEU but the rest of the team better get with the program. CEU lost 72-64 to PLP in ongoing NAASCU action. Magno had a game-high 19 points but couldn't get enough help from his guys.
