Mar Bonleon is the real deal and college ready right now. Unfortunately he won't be able to pad his stats in John Flores' system, which will make his MVP candidacy dicey.

Andre and Kobe Paras both look legitimately 6-foot-2 at least, might even be 6-foot-3. Both kids are strong dunkers and not just stuff-shot dunkers. Kobe also has a neat stroke from all the way out to the three-point arc.

Tsaddy Rangel needs to get stronger, not necessarily beefier although that would help, but stronger. At 6-foot-5 he seems to be only 160 pounds, and can use at least another 30 pounds of meaningful muscle.

There are two other boys who will make LSGH a legit contender this season, Mercado and Yap, who both play the perimeter very well.

And of course big boy Vito is expected back before opening day.

Finally, what ever happened to that Tabaldo (did I get that surname right...?) boy?

Is Tsaddy Rangel related to former Red Lion Tyrone Rangel? Tyrone was a 6'1-6'3" wiry forward for SBC.

He's around 6'0" to 6'1" siguro and plays guard. Played 18 minutes last time out against Lyceum and finished with 21 points, 5 assists, and 5 steals.

Saw a clip of him playing. He seems to be ripe for the collegiate cage wars. I wouldn't be surprised that the Greenies would be in the finals.

The team looks so formidable as ever... what, 7 or 9 hold-overs from last year's team, 2 RP team players (Vito and Bonleon) and a prized rookie in Bolick.

Why can't they win against a smaller SSC staglets team???
