FIL-OIL, GAMEFACE PARTNER UP FOR PRESEASON SUMMER LEAGUE
Fil-Oil and Flying V have chosen Gameface.ph as their official Internet media partner for the 2008 Preseason Invitational Cup. Gameface will create, maintain and update the official tournament website to further increase the media value of the country's premiere preseason collegiate tournament. Official league information and announcements will be announced thru Gameface.ph.
"We are very pleased to have Gameface as our official media portal partner. Gameface is the country's premiere basketball website, and all of the most ardent fans log on to the site. It's perfect for our preseason tournament," said David Dualan, Vice President for Business Development for Fil-Oil and overall officer in charge of the preseason tournament.
This is now the second edition of the preseason tournament sponsored by the country's two leading independent petroleum companies. Fil-Oil and Flying V first became involved in big-time basketball events in 2005 when they staged the Ateneo-Lasalle Legends Showdown. Henry Abes, President and Chief Executive Officer of Gameface was very pleased to be working with Fil-Oil and Flying V. "Gameface is honored to be the official media portal partner for the preseason tournament. This is exactly the kind of action our thousands of registered members love. We are very pleased to bring the action to them online." Gameface boasts over 3,500 online members, almost all of whom log on multiple times in any given day. Gameface members will be regularly updated about tournament updates which will be broacasted to them via website and Media Forum postings and email broadcasts.
