In the DLSU-ADMU game which they lost, binoo siya ng Ateneo crowd pero me lakas pa na humarap sa kanila. Lot of guts!! Baka matalo si Wesley sa Greatest Trash Talkers of all time. Me 2 years ka pa!!

Yes, trash talking should NOT be condoned, but at the same time, one can't really do anything about it because it has been part of the game for decades now. Mapa-NBA, PBA, PBL, UAAP, NCAA (dito at sa US) ka man, may isang player talaga diyan na susubukang sirain ang laro at concentration mo. Alam naman natin kung papano mag-psych up ang players bago ang laro. Lahat ng aspeto (physically, mentally, even emotionally) pinapaghandaan nila. Isa lang ang masira diyan, sira na ang laro mo.
As for Spider Webb. Kahit Lasalista ako, tingin ko wala pa siyang karapatan maging trash talker. Andaming beses kong nainis sa kanya, lalo na this season, dahil sa mga game na pinatalo niya. Sasaksak sa loob, pero butata naman. Oo, ok na mataas energy level niya, at hanga ako sa laro na pinakita niya noong first round ng UAAP this year, kalaban Ateneo. Pero yung mataas na energy level din na yun ang papatay sa kanya. I don't mean to bring him down, but a lot of maturity is needed in his game. As of the moment, he is more of a liability than an asset. Sana maayos nga niya ang sarili niya para sa ikabubuti rin ng team.

A close friend who played for the Blue Eagles (late 90's, early 00's), said that Don Allado and Enrico Villanueva would really talk a lot smack during games DLSU-ADMU games. I think it was back in 1999 when Don was contemplating on foregoing his remaining playing years at DLSU and going pro. Anyway, Enrico would come up with funny trash for Don on the court. He would say things like: "Don, ayos yung form mo sa free throw ha? Pwede ka na mag Pro!" or after beating Enrico to the rebound : "Kayang kaya mo na i box out si Patrimonio sa lagay mo" I guess Enrico's trash talking worked because Allado ended up with Alaska the same year. :D
