He played in the RP Youth team alongside with Ogie, Martin Antonio, James Martinez, Ababou etc..that won the championship in 2003. Bata pa si Jason Castro bukod sa mabait na bata.

1999 - Letran (Binky Favis)
2000 - St. Benilde

2001 & 2002 - San Sebastian

Alas left Letran to coach the Manila MetroStars in 1999 enroute to the MBA Championship.
