UAAP 70 review for the Adamson Falcons

The Adamson Falcons have ended their campaign in this year's UAAP men's basketball tournament with a 2-12 record, a far cry from their final four performance in season 69. Please post your thoughts and observations for this season and any advice you can give for next year...

Deepen your roster. Play as a team. Masyadong obvious kasi na 1-2 punch ang ADU. Tingnan mo UE, nawala is Custodio ganda nung laro.

I think Cabahug's leaving would be better for the team, throughout the season, he was forcing his shots and trying to take over games by himself and we can't really blame him given the talent level surrounding him but without him the others will learn to step up and win games by themselves. I think the team needs 2-3 solid big men next year to compete. I am wondering where Basilio went? Will he return next year? If he comes back, they would at least have a center to build the team around.

I see a lot of potential in some of the new players If they develop some more in the off-season and the returning veterans will be able to take over the leadership of the team in the absence of Patrick Cabahug, Adamson will be more balanced next season.

The more important concerns, though, have to do with the coaching and relations with the administration. I don't know what's up with the coaches, but that situation had better be resolved - it's going to be confusing and difficult for the players if they can't count on who stands behind the bench. Also, I don't know whether the troubles the team had during Ken Bono's last season have continued. I hope admin support for the team is now more reliable; if not, then that has to be resolved quickly, too, because it's very hard to field a competitive team if the players don't feel supported by the school.

Will Canuday play next season? Is Pacheco coming back? Cañada has the potential to be a quicker Ramil Tagupa. However, one of their bigs must bulk up. Otherwise, they will be next year's version of this year's UP.

Demote coach Bogs as a shooting coach/offensive coordinator (naks parang NFL)

I agree with mighty_lion. Deepe your roster. Recruit good offensive players. No matter what others say, a great team has great players.

You have Bono last year. You enter F4. You lost Bono this year, you went back to your old ways.

Re: UAAP 70 review for the Adamson Falcons

Adamson will have the services of Galinato (A big man from mapua's junior squad). He was cutted from the roster of DLSU
