    ROMMEL ADDUCUL
    DON CAMASO
    JUN LONGALONG
    PETER MARTIN
    REUBEN DELA ROSA
    NESTOR ECHANO
    CAESAR BROWN
    ALEX COMPTON
    CHOO SERRANO
    JOEL CO
    GILBERT DEMAPE

the MBA will always be part of RP basketball history. all the players fought with pride and played with a lot of heart. all the games were very exciting and the game play was very very physical. no harm no foul. hardcore talaga. cebu negros is legitimate rivalry. more hardcore than ateneo la salle games. all the games cancelled midway, debris flooding the floor, sneak punches caught on tape, etc. outstanding fan bases. sayang, masyado na malalaki allowance ng mga players. sana they just kept their rosters homegrown instead of couching out millions for big namers like alvarez and hizon. nakakamiss talaga...

GO NEGROS SLASHERS!!!! hahaha... seriously, I rooted for them, kahit hindi ako taga Negros. I especially loved the Negros-Cebu battles. John Ferriols vs Rob Wainwright. Johndel Cardel vs Dondon Hontiveros. Maui Huelar vs Mike Manigo. Dorian Pena vs Matt Mitchell. Oh ha.... hahaha. ;D

If I'm right,at one point, the MBA even passed the PBA in terms of popularity with the viewing public. THey had a good idea, with their grassroots concept.

Sayang lang, there were some very good talents who "wasted" their careers in that league. Biboy Simon for example. But over-all hoop fans should be thankful for what the MBA brought about for Philippine basketball. They discovered the likes of Hontiveros, Hugnatan, Belano, and others who otherwise, may have had difficulties trying to get into the PBA.

Oh and of course, they brought Alex Compton unto the scene. And we all love Alex don't we? Sayang lang he wasn't allowed to play in the PBA... he's more PINOY to me than some of the "Fil-Ams" playing in the PBA right now.

Man FAVORITE ko dyan CEBU! Gems db? hahaha sayang talaga nawala ang league... there was a time where i would watch MBA rather than watching the PBA. pero oh well thats life.. and if u look at it most of the PBA stars came from the MBA.. sayang talaga oh well.. ;D
Don't have a mindset of being a point guard or being a center. Have that mindset that you want to be a basketball player.
