    Re: All About Basketball Training

I am just wondering how and who chooses who qualifies for the Nike Elite camp among players from the provinces.

In a handful of articles that I've read about this Elite camp, it suppose to bring together the best or the outstanding players from different cities and provinces/regions all over the country for a training camp. And this camp has been in existence for a couple or more years.

How come in Davao City, Mario Bonleon of Holy Child was never included in that Nike Elite Camp when in fact, he was an MVP more than a couple of times in the local leagues there and is a consistent dominant player in his age group? Just recently, he steered his team to win the FIBA33 championship in MOA and even played in the Pilipinas 3 on 3 team in the AYG in Singapore.

I am wondering if the process of choosing who are worthy to be included in the camp is based on objective judgment or a subjective one?

It is highly probable that there are players out there who are really better than the ones who get to join these highly touted national training camps but ,for "some reasons", were left out in the cold.
