Anthony, thank you very much for this. We just forgot to start a thread about the country's premiere amateur(?) league. Perhaps we were just too much focused on giving attention to the other amateur leagues.

Looks like Magnolia is now favored with the suspension of Tangkay.

Mas maganda nyan if Rain or Shine beats Magnolia tomorrow. We'll never know who will step up for the Elasto Painters in tomorrow's do or die match for the championship. Pero tingin ko, more responsibility will be given to Enrile and Orbeta since they will be ones to be picked to man the post Tangkay had left due to his suspension.

    Re: 2005-2006 PBL Heroes Cup

Why was Tangkay suspended again? He hit Arwind Santos in the face, right?

Poor Arwind. First he gets it in the back of the head, and now in the face.

Oh, well, at least pantay na. :P

    Re: 2005-2006 PBL Heroes Cup

Actually, Arwind was hit by Tangkay on the face in two successive games which is why he got suspended after the second.

    Loko kayo, ah! ;D
We had a head start in this game. At one time we had a glorious 3rd place finish in the World Championship and was the undisputed power in Asia. But the world has learned how to play it. They may not be as good as us,but they have enough smarts to make use of their height. That is enough to beat us.
