Multi-titled coach Loreto "Ato" Tolentino is back as coach of PCU Dolphins

Tolentino, who piloted the Dolphins to its first and only crown in NCAA in 2004, is back, to try to bring back PCU lost glory after the 2007 scandal re: their junior players that cost them a league suspension.

PCU is re-applying for NCAA, and Coach Ato is now on the process of building a champion team.

Former PCU Dolphins Gabby Espinas and Beau Belga along with the other member of 2004 champion team is seen helping coach Ato in training the soon to be new breed of Dolphins.

So does this mean the NCAA has made some initial moves to bring PCU back? 10 is a nice number for scheduling and such. I doubt someone like Coach Ato Tolentino would make a comeback like this if the Dolphins aren't at least being considered for a return to the NCAA.

I hope PCU also takes this opportunity to change its external image.

Suggestions:

1. Rather than "Dolphins", make them "Orcas" (because "Killer Whales" doesn't go well with "Philippine Christian University".)

2. Ditch the baby-blue, and go for the black-and-white look.

Ayos ba?

Kung sa bagay, hawig at kasing bangis naman ni Ato Tolentino si Richard Harris sa pelikulang "Orca, the Killer Whale". ;D

Great, old coach old ways I'll bet. I can't wait for the next violation to occur.

THE LEVEL of competition is seen to rise several notches with the acceptance of Philippine Christian University (PCU) as the newest member of the National Athletic Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (NAASCU). The Dolphins will have no less than the most successful coach in league history Loreto “Ato” Tolentino Sr. at the helm of their maiden campaign that will fire off on August 12, 2014 (Tuesday) at the Makati Coliseum.
