Coaches are rare breed in the NBA. High pressured to win games and championships. Every year musical chair starts with the going ins and outs. Players specially this year, LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, Chis Bosh, Joe Johnson, Dirk Nowitzki, Paul Pierce, Amare Stoudemire wait till a coach is hired before they can choose their team. Time to talk on NBA coaches.-Toto Battung

Doc Rivers will return to coach the Boston Celtics. He hopes to hire former New Jersey Nets coach Lawrence Frank to replace assistant Tom Thibodeau who left to coach the Chicago Bulls.

Byron Scott is accepting Cleveland's coaching position. Just ironing some details. Now they wait for LeBron James, if he ever comes back. New York Knicks might land him.

Phil Jackson is returning to coach the Los Angeles Lakers. One and last time. Time for Brian Shaw and Derek Fisher to learn from the Zen Master so they can coach the future Lakers.

I hope the Zen Master stays a little bit longer than that. Hope he aims for a 4-peat.
Hindi pa ba siya nagsasawa sa 3-peat?
He always do his championship runs in cluster. Why not do the last cluster a little special that the previous ones. Make it 4 in a row on your last one. 5 wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Former Chicago Bulls coach Vinny del Negro agreed to coach the Los Angeles Clippers. He's a good coach in need of good role players.

So Lebron James has committed to the Miami Heat. It's an All-Star team with Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh, the top 3 of the 2010 Free Agency. Can we now say the 2011 NBA Finals will be the Los Angeles Lakers vs. the Miami Heat?
One thing I like with the whole scenario is our very own Filipino-American coach Erik Spoelstra will direct the the three superstars. Let's hope the first Filipino NBA coach will get his NBA championship ring next year.

I think its more interesting to see Pat Riley vs Phil Jackson, than the Fil-Am Miami coach, Imagine Riley and the Heat of Wade, James and Bosh stopping the Lakers-three peat title-run, add to the glamour is that Pat Riley lead the Lakers to 4 championships during the 80s.
