San Beda- Rizal d. Letran 87-61
It took the NCAA champions, the San Beda Red Cubs just two quarters tp show its true strength, as they outclassed the Letran Squires 87-61, at the Arellano University gymnasium. Behind 22-24 and 38-39, the Red Cubs took the lead in the early part of the third quarter and never looked back, to cinch the first seat in the semifinals.
Van Adam Abatayo led five Bedans in double figures with 18 markers.

De La Salle Zobel d. Perpetual Help 102-100
Mykee Capacio, son of FEU coach Glenn Capacio, secured the victory for his team with his two pressure-packed free throws, with just seconds remaining in the second overtime, to secure a semifinal seat in the Junior Division of the 16th Fr. Martin Summer Cup

Ateneo d. Jose Rizal U. 72-66
The UAAP champions, the Ateneo Blue Eaglets thought it would be easy sailing in beating the Jose Rizal Light Bombers, but they were wrong, as they had to struggle for three quarters before distancing themselves from the boys of Mandaluyong.
Under 18 national player Kiefer Ravena led Ateneo with 24 points, 20 in the second half.
They now meet the NCAA champions, San Beda Red Cubs in the semifinals.

Arellano U. d. National U. 69-62
The Arellano Junior Chiefs, Group A's fourth ranked team, scored a big upset win, as they have beaten Group B leader, the National University Bullpups, 69-62, to take the remaining semifinal seat.
Donald Allan Cerrudo, a find from their own intramurals, led the Legarda based boys with 25 points, 13 in the last quarter.
