You might as well include the Milo leagues: Small Basketeers of the Philippines (SBP) and Pasarelle tournament. SBP is for boys 11 and under while Pasarelle is for those from 12-14. These tournaments are nationwide in scope with champions from Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao and GMA squaring it out for the national championship.

accdg to bill velasco, "The best high school shooter in the country. Last year, the starting guard of Benedictine International High School learned how to play the point, with devastating results. This writer personally witnessed a game wherein the 5'11" junior hit five three-pointers in the last minute and a half of a losing game, cutting a deficit from 17 to 2. In another game, he hit 12 three-pointers. Will likely play for the UST Growling Tigers, whose assistant coach is high school coach."

There is a Filamer Christian College in Negros, if I'm not mistaken.

Nice prospect for a team that badly needs a true big man. UP... Ay! Mali! ;) ;D

7. LAPSSA - Las Piñas Private Schools Sports Association

Las Piñas Schools Athletic Association (LPSAA) - talagang sports league ito na 2-3 months ang tagal, with an elimination round at knockout final four and championship. Hindi kasali ang Perpetual at LPC dito pero kasama SFACS. However, pati SFACS-Taguig at SFACS-Cavite sumasali dito.

I'll go with San Sebastian on this one because of the fact na mas madaming "mama" na maglaro sa team na yun if we are going to base their performances this past UAAP and NCAA season. Angat ang laro ni Buenafe sa juniors ranks pati na si Bringas and their supporting cast is not that bad either.

But during the UAAP finals, nakita naman natin kung paano lumaban ang La Salle Zobel against a more formidable and talented backcourt plus frontline ng Ateneo High. Kung sa strategy alone, papalag si Boris laban kay Raymond Valenzona ng Staglets. Sa materyales (players) na lang magkakatalo which I am giving advantage to the Staglets as well.

Baste o Zobel?

If the gauge is the recent recruitmet hype, sa Baste ako. :)

It is not hype if the team wins their head to head match-up or eventually win the league championship. During the pre-season it was Baste who won the important pre-season tournaments leading to the start of the NCAA and UAAP season.

That the NCAA juniors champion will beat their UAAP counterpart is nothing out of the ordinary.

Pre-season or post-season. Hype or no hype.

Magugulat pa ako pag yung NCAA jrs titleholder ang matalo.
