as contrast to PBA's high scoring games?

i wonder why all (except loyzaga's moneymen last season) PBL coaches tend to rely on defense through all these years?

with the exception of the triple-overtime shootout between magnolia and kettlekorn, almost all games are in the 60's or 70's in score.

I've never been watching PBL, but as an amateur league, I think it has something to do with the clock. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's only 10 minutes per quarter.

kase PBL is amateur league and 10 minutes per quarter according to FIBA rules. hinde ito nba rules na ginagamit and un shaded area ng nba is rectangular. sa PBL, cylinder.

Some of the games have been high-scoring.

The RP team scored 103 -- yes, 103 -- points against Toyota Balintawak's 92.

But I have to admit, the 10 minutes per quarter is one reason why the scores are low.

But that is the FIBA rule talaga, which the PBL is using.
