check out my list of players who played in the NCAA JUNIORS and now showing their talent in the current season of the UAAP(sobrang dami, you'll be surprised):

UE-James Martinez(San Beda Red Cubs), Paul Lee(San Sebastian Stags), Elmer Espiritu(JRU), Mark Borboran(JRU)
Ateneo-Eric Salamat(San Sebastian),Ford Arao(San Beda), Yuri Escueta(San Beda), Al-Husseini(PCU), Mike Baldos(San Beda)
Lasalle-Jv Casio(San Beda), Carlo Walsham(Letran), Oj Cua(Letran), Mangahas (PCU), Marko Batricovic (LSGH)
NU-Raymond Aguilar(San Sebastian),
UP- Jayfelson Agbayani(San Beda)

FEU,ADAMSON,UST wala akong kilala eh. Di ko na rin sinama yung mga alumni at ka2x-graduate lang last year.

Ginawa ko lang toh kase yung most sought after High School player ngayon ay galing sa SAN SEBASTIAN in the person of 6'2 Ryan Buenafe and 6'2 SAN BEDA star forward NICO SALVA which is part of the NIKE JUNIORS TEAM from the philippines that went to China to have a week long camp. Maybe a fact that the UAAP is the no.1 collegiate league in the philippines and the most popular one. But the NCAA will always be there to share the limelight once in a while and contribute by producing the BEST TALENTS in the land. Go Philippine Basketball! Go for one MAJOR collegiate league! :)

UST's Dizon is from SSCR-HS and ADAMSON's Gonzalgo is from Mapua (when their HS was still in existence). Also, Reyes of UE is another former SSCR Staglet playing in the UAAP.

At the end of the day all incoming college freshmen were, one way or another, approached and wooed by both UAAP and NCAA teams, its just that there are certain circumstances which influenced their decision as to where to pursue college. Given tnat both leagues tend to go after the SAME players, one does both the NCAA and the UAAP a great disservice if he/she were to keep on insinuating that one is REALLY better than the other in terms of player quality. Peace.

By "dominating the league" does the trhead mean that most if not all legit college superstars are from the NCAA juniors? Or is it just saying that there are a lot of them jumping to the UAAP?

The past two MVPs--Ken Bono and Jervy Cruz--weren't NCAA high school finishers, if that's any indication to the contrary. The last real dominating NCAA junior player that I remember--who I think didn't win the MVP award--was Ren-Ren Ritualo. And then there's LA Tenorio, but I can't remember if he was named MVP.

maybe "dominating the league" is not the right term, but rather getting recruited to play for UAAP schools...

in fact, if you take a look at most top players in the UAAP right now, most of them did not come from the NCAA juniors. in fact, some highly-touted NCAA juniors have been disappointments so far in their UAAP stints - case in point, oj cua and pj (NOT carlo) walsham from la salle (ex-letran squires), and jay agbayani from UP (ex-san beda red cub)...

should the title be like this?

"Do you agree that former players from the NCAA juniors are being DOMINATED by the UAAP?"

I think the title should be like that..The NCAA juniors are not dominating the UAAP..they are being won over to the UAAP by the bigger perks given by UAAP teams. Right? ;D

I think kahit rin naman sa UAAP, may magagaling din players from HS na lumipat sa NCAA (tama po ba?). Anyway, aminado kami from the UAAP schools na talagang maraming junior players from the NCAA ang nalu-lure na maglaro sa UAAP kasi nga maganda usually ang offers sa mga bata. I think, isa pa, parang tumataas rin ang stock nila (as a basketball player) kapag lumipat sa isang UAAP school. Iba rin kasi ang PR na nabibigay sa isang player kapag naglaro sa UAAP. Grabe din ang media mileage. Anyway, opinyon ko lang naman po ito.
