Technically speaking, this is the team's ninth game so I'll still place game 9 in the thread title barring any storms that might cancel the game on Sunday.

In the first encounter @ NAS, we had a hard time beating this guys. Until the last minute, the score was close and everybody is anxious and nervous for the ending. FEU knows how to play us really well especially exposing those mismatches in the 2-3 spots wherein they have tall and lanky guys who can out jump our guards. This was also the first game that I saw Paul Sanga (what makes matters worse is that he came from La Salle Antipolo) wreck havoc as he's not much of a factor in the off season tournaments. JR Gerilla (now gone from the team) also provided mismatches down below as he's one quick big guy that has good post post moves.

Can we score another victory against the men from Morayta this time around? Baracael is much more improved at this stage showing his leadership, scoring, and defensive capabilities. I hope we're now recovered from the UST debacle or else, we will be eaten alive by these rampaging Tamaraws. Your thoughts please.

Definitely a great match and a must see live! La Salle's end game composure will be tested again by the FEU's character... :)

The Archers were almost beaten by the Tamaraws during their first meeting. It was only La Salle's composure that enabled them to weather the storm by FEU. On Sunday, La Salle's team basketball (i repeat... TEAM BASKETBALL) will once again be put to the test by a very dangerous and Final Four-quality FEU team.

the archers' last game against the tamarraws really exposed their weaknesses as a team and as individuals. i just hope that the archers will bounce back from the loss against the tigers.

The Archers have LOTS OF TIME to prepare for the Tamaraws on Sunday. They've got to get their act as a team together before the Tamaraws exploit such weakness.

The weaknesses of the team are already known to our coaches, and knowing them, corrective measures already have been put in place. It all boils down to focus and concentration on the part of the players during the game.

Some observations...
- Rico showed up to play
- Jvee did not need to be the big superstar to carry the burden for La Salle
- Muntik nang ma-USTe ulit. Buti na lang the boys were wiser now.

he was also awarded the NIKE spotlight baller of the game. good showing indeed! at least he only got his fouls late in the fourth canto.
a much needed win for the archers in which they did not fail to deliver.!

That was game was almost another UST in the making. Thank God the Archers did not allow themselves to collapse in the end game.
