Next game on tap is against the UE Red Warriors this Sunday at the Cuneta Astrodome. We will face a team with the Pumaren system in place (with some tweaks of course). Coach Dindo was actually in the game yesterday doing his homework.

In UE's past games, parang kulang sila sa composure especially the guards. Medyo I find it na on-off ang pagputok ng mga guards nila. Luckily pag pumutok sina Marcy and James (sama na rin natin si Paul Lee and the number 10 guy na kaliwete, which the name I forgot) on cue naman which helps UE win their games. I guess this is one area that we can attack and take advantage on Sunday.

Our big men will be busy again as always due to UE's fast athletic bigs like Thiele, Borboran, and Espiritu. Add to that list Fampulme (which I believe will be handled by Walsham) and Llagas. Expect our bigs to work on double time in the rebounding department again on Sunday. Actually, we did a good job in rebounding yesterday against FEU, outrebounding them, 47-41.

It will just be a battle as well of who folds first to the pressue and the pressure D. These games (FEU and UE games) really served as good tests for us for the big game on Thursday against Ateneo.

Another acid test for the Archers. UE's bigs are more athletic than ours so team defense inside the paint will be key. Archers also have to check UE's shooters(Martinez, Lee, Arellano) Also, outside shooting from Casio, Barua, Malabes, Cua, Tang, Mangahas is critical in opening up the middle. Will Atkins and Marko play on Sunday?

Both are still doubtful as of the moment.

isama na rin natin jan si Toto Bandaying. akala ko this will be the season for him to shine. pero parang nawala na sa rotation.

Good observation also cub. I don't have news though kung injured ba itong si Bandaying.

#10 is Lingganay. Pag swerte may jumpshot din yan. Canizares, I think is also coming off an injury. Pero more on wingman ang laro niyan.

truly tomorrows game will be on the books as 2 young great coach battle it out for supremacy. coach dindo must come up with his warrior "d"(all out defense) cause La Salle will definitely rampage it's way into their fences. They must play tough against the mighty archers for this team is for real and hungry to regain its glory!. There is no room for errors and softness in tomorrows big game. Go La Salle!!!

All out Gang Green! ;D

Too close to call. Kung sino ang mas bwenas, handa (mentally and physically), focused at makaka-adjust during game time ang mananalo.

Bakbakan to. Wala munang kuya at kapatid. I believe this will be the (next to the) biggest test for the archers in the first round.

Animo Lasalle!

now canizares was a big factor for today's game. he was a spark for the warriors. even thiele contributed well. i really didnt expect it to be a blown out game. good composure indeed. like my bro said "hindi na ata dinadaga ang ue at may angas narin."

as for the archers, i believe they will never forget this loss and they will definitely learn from this. im sure it will be a dogfight the next outing.

all is well.. kudos to the warriors!

Pare, he's been assisting Dindo for how many years now. There was an instance wherein during a time out si Derrick yung galit na galit sa mga UE players rather than Dindo scolding them hehe.

We were definitely outplayed yesterday by UE. Sabi nga ni FGT, they brought their "A" game that we weren't able to match up their intensity. There were so many learnings for this game and for sure we will bring this in our future games. Malaki naitulong nitong game na ito actually to us.

Congratulations to the Warriors. Definitely a humbling experience for the archers. I'm sure adjustments will be made but this was a loss that really showed us na may kulang pa sa laro ng mga bata. Still, i'm very optimistic about this year's squad and I know this will be a huge learning experience for them. :)

Kitakits sa second round

Hindi naman sa ganon. Ang bawa't laban ng UE at La Salle ever since the James Yap era had always been good games na bihira maka-sweep for either UE or La Salle. I am not sure on Cholo pero tingin ko meron siyang iniinda sa paa niya kaya medyo hirap ang laro kahapon. When Rico missed the open two handed layup ( I was actually expecting a dunk sa tingin ko sa pagkaka-take off niya kahapon) medyo tambak na nun La Salle so I guess it's the low morale thing that affected Rico's shot. Nawalan na ng gana kumbaga.

Maganda ang nilaro ninyo kahapon pre. I mean kahit sinong makalaban ninyo at ganun ang laro ninyo, walang makakatalo sa inyo.

almost EVERYBODY contributed in the UE team.

and i quote from ubelt.com...

And when Elmer Espiritu makes a three-point shot from the apex of the arc and Rico Maierhofer misses a two-handed gimme, you just know that the green and white squad would be seeing red when they get home.

nobody said it better. >:(
