Just got a text from Pareng LION that Vegildo "Gido" Babilonia, former Letran Squire, UST Glowing Goldie, national player San Miguel Beerman, UE deputy coach and father of next generation ballers, died this morning due to a heart condition.

We mourn his passing.

this is very sad news indeed. what's been noted is that he was conspicuously absent in the UE bench when the warriors visited ateneo in the HAIL tournament yesterday. rest in peace, guido. condolences to the babilonia family.

Condolences to his family. We always greeted and talked to each other when we saw each other at the games. Shocking indeed.

I was surprised and saddened to read about this in the newspaper this morning. Condolences to the loved ones he left behind, and may he rest in peace.

"Q" nga ba ang middle initial nya o "T"? I always thought that his middle initial was "T" -- the first letter of a family name long associated with his province of Quezon...
