Veteran Roel Capati will not be seeing action for the Falcons after being ruled ineligible by the UAAP board only moments before the UAAP 69th season kicks off. Remember how Chad Alonzo was also found ineligible to play only weeks before season 68? What is it with my favorite team and their penchant for discovering the ineligibility of their players so close to the league's opening?

Mike Yong, the second oldest Falcon after Capati, has been appointed as the new team captain of Adamson in a recent practice.

What do you think about these developments? Many thanks for your feedback..

Masakit mang sabihin, kaya na naman nasilip ang Adamson ay, una, hindi kayo ang host at, pangalawa, wala kayong masyadong batak sa ibang miyembro ng board tulad ng iba diyan.

it's some cause for concern because it means adamson team management has been remiss in ensuring the eligibility of its players. they should be more thorough next time.

on the other hand, though, roel capati's loss won't be as palpable as that of chad alonzo's. chad brought more to the table in terms of defense, rebounding, and leadership than roel. having said that, i feel adamson hasn't gotten over yet the departure of jojo hate, the falcons' heart and soul. everyone hated playing against him, but given a choice, they would have all loved having him as a teammate. it's among the best compliments a baller can receive from his peers.
